We are committed to the protection of the website/webstore from misuse and the unauthorized access to personal data. We achieve this by making use of for example, SSL secured connections. It is your responsibility to protect the equipment that you visit and use through our website/webstore by means of for example, a virus scanner.  

Personal Data 

By making use of our website/webstore you leave certain information with us. This may be personal data, therefore, data that can be directly or indirectly redirected to you. However, we only store and use the personally identifiable information provided directly by you or of which it is clear that they are supplied by you for our processing.

We use the personal data obtained from you only for the specific purposes for which it has been acquired.

Webstore

In case you order products in our webstore we process personal data such as: your name, your address, shoe size, payment or bank details. We process this personal data in order to fulfill the order you placed. For fiscal reasons we retain this personal data for a period of seven (7) years.

In case you choose to pay in installments or pay later, we ask for your date of birth. We may provide your information in that case to companies we hired to perform a(n) (instance) credit check.

In case you bought products in our webstore, we subscribe you to our newsletter without consent, provided that you are always able to unsubscribe.

Newsletter
By subscribing to our newsletter, and therefore your personal data is requested, we will only use this information to send you our newsletter by e-mail. You can unsubscribe at any given moment from the newsletter by using of the ‘unsubscribe’ link provided in the newsletter itself. As soon as you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we will immediately delete your personal data relating to the newsletter.

The basis on which we process the personal data is to be able to carry out your request to receive the newsletter.

Furthermore, we process your data for statistical purposes. This way we can obtain general insights such as demographic insights.

We also collect your personal data in order to build a profile. We do this to determine preferences such as, the links you click in the newsletter, which device you prefer to read the newsletter in or when you choose to read the newsletter. 

The basis for building a profile in this case in AZUR’s legitimate interest and in order to provide you with better tailor-made content.

We do not process more data than is strictly necessary for this specific purpose, and in your interest, fundamental rights and freedoms are not violated. If you do choose to unsubscribe from our newsletter, your profile along with its information will also be deleted.

Contact Form 

In the instance that you would like to for example, ask us a question, contact us, sing-up for a specific program, you can make use of the contact and/or registration form provided in our website/apps. We only use the information provided by you through this form in order to answer your question/comment, or to complete your registration. After answering your question, we will proceed to delete your data if processing is no longer necessary.

The basis on which we process personal data in this case is to be able to carry out your request for information, respond to your comment (s) and/or handling and processing your application.

Job Application

In the case you leave your personal information on our website/apps in the context of a job application, we will only make use of this information in the context of the job application process for the determined vacancy you have applied for. If the vacancy for which you have applied is filled or withdrawn, we will destroy the data you have left behind. This includes for example, your curriculum vitae and motivation letter. We will only keep your information only after your specific consent and in the event of future vacancies.

The basis on which we process personal data is: the (pre-contractual) execution of an employment contract.

Please note: a (passport) photograph, place of birth and/or country of birth, trade union’s memberships, sexual orientation and status of health are considered special categories of personal data. You do not need to mention this in your curriculum vitae or motivation letter and it is also irrelevant in the assessing of your application.

Third Parties

We may authorize third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties will be considered ‘processors’ in that case. These processors always act under the responsibility of AZUR and may not use the personal data collected for their own specific purposes. We have entered into a data processing agreement with these third parties.

Third parties may include but are not limited to, our hosting provider and suppliers of online tools. With these online tools we are able to, for example, send our newsletter, follow-up on your questions or comments and/or handle your application.

Personal data can be processed outside E.U. and/or the E.E.A.. For the greater part, in the United States. We ensure that the third parties responsible for processing your personal data are Party Shield certified and/or work with the E.U.’s model contract for the transfer of personal data to third countries.
